Who we are and our role as data controller

pulseripza operates this website as the data controller under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. We are responsible for deciding how and why your personal data is processed when you visit our site or use our services related to professional video feeds, live signal management, content distribution, camera operations and broadcast-quality media supply for news and television.

Scope of this notice

This policy applies to all visitors to the site, including prospective clients, broadcasters, production companies and any other individuals who interact with us through the contact form, cookie banner or other site features. It covers data collected online and any offline follow-up that results from your website activity.

Categories of personal data and sources

We collect identification details such as name and job title, contact information including email address and telephone number, professional details about your organisation and broadcast requirements, technical data such as IP address, browser type and device information, and usage data from your interactions with the site. Most data is obtained directly from you when you complete the contact form or accept cookies. We may also receive limited data from analytics providers and service partners.

Purposes of processing and legal bases

We process your data to respond to enquiries about our media feed services (legal basis: legitimate interests or contract performance), to manage and improve the website (legitimate interests), to comply with legal obligations such as record keeping (legal obligation), and to send service-related updates where you have opted in (consent). Each purpose is assessed to ensure the processing is necessary and proportionate.

Whether providing data is required

Supplying contact details via the form is voluntary. If you choose not to provide them we may be unable to respond to your request for information about video operations or live signal services. You can still browse most of the site without submitting any personal data, although some functionality such as the contact form will be unavailable.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to remember your preferences and analyse site usage. Details of the specific cookies, their purposes and how to manage them are set out in our separate Cookie Policy, which is accessible via the site-wide cookie banner and footer links. You can adjust your browser settings or use the banner controls at any time.

Processors, recipients and legal disclosures

We share data with trusted service providers such as hosting companies, email delivery platforms, analytics services and professional advisers who act as processors under contract. We may also disclose information where required by law, regulation or court order, or to protect the rights and safety of pulseripza, our users or the public.

International transfers

Some of our processors are located outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred to countries without an adequacy decision we use appropriate safeguards such as UK-approved standard contractual clauses or binding corporate rules to protect your information to the same standard as UK GDPR.

Retention periods

We keep enquiry-related data for up to two years after the last meaningful contact, or longer if required for legal, accounting or regulatory reasons. Technical logs are retained for no more than twelve months. We review stored data periodically and delete or anonymise it once the retention purpose has ended.

Security and data minimisation

We apply technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit, access controls and regular security reviews to protect personal data. We collect only the data necessary for the stated purposes and encourage users to provide the minimum information required when contacting us.

Your data subject rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may exercise these rights by contacting us at [email protected] or 0800 679 060. We will respond within one month, or explain any extension if the request is complex.

Withdrawing consent and objecting to marketing

Where processing relies on consent you may withdraw it at any time by using the unsubscribe link in emails or by writing to [email protected]. You also have an absolute right to object to direct marketing and to profiling for marketing purposes; simply inform us and we will cease such processing.

Right to complain to the supervisory authority

If you believe we have not handled your data correctly you may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or by calling their helpline. We encourage you to contact us first at BT Tower, 60 Cleveland Street, London W1T 4JZ so we can try to resolve the matter promptly.

Children and age restrictions

Our services are intended for professional users in the broadcasting and media industry. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that data from a child has been collected we will delete it without delay.

Automated decision-making and profiling

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Any analytics we perform are for internal service improvement only and do not result in automated decisions about individuals.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in law, technology or our business practices. The date at the top of the page indicates the latest version. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. Previous versions are available on request from [email protected].
